Berea typically uses a blended-worship-style on Sunday mornings, and we describe this as a combination between contemporary Christian songs, traditional hymns, and choruses. Our objective is a balanced service that ministers to a larger audience, while also avoiding extremes on polar-ends of the Christian music continuum.

Summary

GriefShare has three programs each year, one 2-hour session called Loss of a Spouse held each June, one 2-hour session called Surviving the Holidays held each November before Thanksgiving and two 13-week seminars starting in January and August each year. GriefShare is only for those who have lost a loved one in death and not for those who have other losses such as the loss of a job, divorce, or a pet.

Join us at Locust Hills Golf Course on Friday, October 3 for a fun event for everyone! Dinner will be available from 5:00-6:00 PM. A four-hole golf scramble will begin at 5:30 PM, and a putting challenge will begin at 6:00 PM. For those who aren't into golf, there will be games, and other fun activities throughout the evening! You also won't want to miss the OCC Dessert Silent Auction that will be going on throughout the evening!
