When I was in high school, my football coach wanted me to carry the football in my left hand. In order to accomplish this in the game, he had me carry it everywhere I went for about two weeks so I would learn how it felt and to be comfortable with the ball in the opposite hand I had normally carried it.

Every town, city, county and state has a set of laws that they have enacted for their wellbeing. They establish these laws in accordance with the standards they have agreed upon and residents as well as visitors are held to that set of rules. These guidelines cover a variety of activities and vary from place to place. To follow the established laws of a community or state you previously lived in will create problems in your current location.
September 30, 2021 - Romans 6:15-23
When I first started teaching young people in Vacation Bible school and other gatherings where children could sing and learn the Scriptures, we taught a little song that has always stayed with me through the years. It was O-B-E-D-I-E-N-C-E and it taught that obedience is the very best way to show that we believe. I think Paul would have enjoyed and probably have sung that song in some of his teaching times.
September 29, 2021 - Romans 6:1-14
In the beginning of the year 1977, I made a decision to become a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. At the moment I bowed my knees and asked repentance of the sins that I had committed, I received Christ as my Savior. With that act of obedience, I died to one life and began a new life. It was at this time I surrendered authority of my life to a new king and ruler.

As I was growing up, I was constantly compared to my brothers. Having five brothers made the comparisons come often as I had to live up to my older brothers and be an example to the younger ones. Whether it was sports, hunting or cars, we were either associated with or contrasted to one another.

Fall is a wonderful time of the year as the fields ripen and the harvest comes into the marketplace. Driving through the country roads, past fields, orchards, and vineyards can bring a sense contentment. The hard work of summer is past, and the smells, tastes, and fruitfulness of harvest is upon us.
