Józsué & Sári Dan

Both my wife (Sári) and I (Józsué) were born and raised in Hungary, an Eastern European former Soviet Bloc country. After getting married on August 9, 2014, we found ourselves in a situation where we could not actively serve in a local church, or at least that's what we thought, as a young couple. We prayed that God might change something, maybe a new work schedule, so we could find and serve a local church in the new area where we moved after our wedding.
God answered our prayer in a surprising way as the door of opportunity opened for us to come to the United States to further my (Józsué) theological education. We moved to West Virginia to attend Appalachian Bible College on August 19, 2015, to spend 2.5 (maximum 3) years and then return to Hungary after completing my B.A. in Bible and Theology plus Pastoral majors. God, however, had different plans and began to open our eyes to the weightiness of pastoral ministry only 1.5 years into the program. I began to pray for more opportunities to learn. I was, and still am, afraid to misrepresent Him and His precious Word.
He heard us again, and since then He has given me more than I could imagine. It is now over 7 years since we moved, and God has allowed me not only to finish my Bachelor of Arts degree at Appalachian Bible college but also a Master of Divinity degree at Shepherd’s Theological Seminary in North Carolina. We are currently in a pastoral internship at Liberty Bible Church (Eureka, Illinois) under Pastor Tom Zobrist and are eager to return home to Hungary in early 2023.
Our desire is to take everything the Lord has blessed us with and use it for His glory! We seek to plant and establish a Hungarian church that will not only reproduce itself in other church plants but, by God's grace, also become a training center for all Hungarian pastors (current and future) who seek to divide the word of truth accurately and who are eager to feed the precious flock of God which He has purchased by the blood of his son, Jesus Christ our Lord!
Please consider partnering with us in this mission both in your prayers for we crave the prayers of the righteous since they avail much, and in your sacrificial giving as we wish to devote our lives to the full-time study and preaching/teaching of the Word of God.
We are excited to see what the Lord will do through His word in Hungary! Please join us in our efforts!
